The CD-Rewriteable is a high performance IDE interface CD-RW drive, implementing the ATAPI IDE standard interface with 52X (read), 52x (write) and 24X (re-write). User friendliness is further enhanced as the CD-Rewritable can be used as a PnP (Plug and Play) CD-ROM drive for all PC operating systems, such as Windows XP, 2000, Me, 98, 95 and NT. You can use the two quick select buttons to manually control music CDs without running any software programs. A standard ANSI MMC (multimedia Command) set is also featured. The CD-Rewritable drive supporting all writing modes extends operational versatility and CD formats (CD-DA, CD-ROM etc., include CD-UDF as standardized by OSTA). Furthermore, the erase function is supported for CD-RW discs allowing repetitive use.
