Before obtaining an RMA number, please contact
the manufacturer of your product. You will find tech support
numbers on the packaging or manual for your product. The
manufacturer technical support engineer will verify that
your hardware is indeed defective. Obtain a manufacturer
defective confirmation code and write it down as it will
be used later. Failure to include the manufacturer
defective confirmation code with your return will result
in refusal of your return.
Take note of the name of your technical support contact, toll
free phone number, and diagnosis of your problem as this information
will be required for the approval of an RMA number. |
Once you have your RMA Number:
Repackage the product(s) being returned in their original
packaging. All products being returned must be 100% complete
and must be packaged in the original packaging material. All
packing materials, CD's, diskettes, manuals, warranty cards,
documentation, and any other accessories must be included
in the original product box. A return will be refused
and sent back to you at your cost if any of the materials
are missing from the packaging.
Include all packages being returned in a shipping box that
is properly packaged for transportation of sensitive hardware
material. Omnetix PC will not honor any returns that arrive
improperly packaged, altered, or physically damaged. All
items will be inspected and tested upon receipt. Any items
found to have any of the following will be refused return:
- Product(s) Improperly Packaged,
- Product(s) containing labels that have been tampered
or removed,
- Product(s) with missing or damaged standard labels such
as (UL, capacity, Brand, and SKU#),
- Product(s) that are received in an unqualified shipping
container,
- Product(s) or packages with missing or damaged bar codes,
- Product(s) with a serial number that do not match the
product serial number on your package (Omnetix PC tracks
all product serial numbers).
- Damaged Components, cracks, burns, scratches,
- Damaged boards, abuse of component, or defacement,
- Loose, damaged, or missing screws,
- Product(s) with a security seal that has been scratched,
removed, or tampered with.
Place your products in a qualified shipping container and
mark the box with the RMA number you received from
the Omnetix PC web site. Failure to include your
RMA number on your shipping container will result in refusal
of delivery
of package and it will be returned to you at your cost.
We strongly encourage you to fully insure your package
prior to shipping for your protection!
You will receive an address to ship your defective or damaged
product(s) once your RMA is approved, typically our closest
warehouse to your location. |
